I started my journey at the Art Institute in Dallas, earning my culinary degree with honors before honing my skills at Café Modern in Fort Worth. While working every station in the kitchen, I found my passion in the plated dessert station, where my eye for precision and artistry flourished. Soon, coworkers began requesting custom cakes, and what started as a few small projects quickly grew into my true calling. Carmel Cakery was born. Inspired by the bold flavors and rich traditions of my Mexican heritage, I incorporate warm spices, fresh fruits, and deep chocolates into my desserts, blending tradition with modern techniques. Every creation is crafted with intention—bringing artistry, flavor, and a touch of celebration to every bite.
